What is the difference between the Cardinal and Gold camp?

Really, the only difference is the dates of the camps.  The camps are run primarily the same.

How are athletes grouped in the gym?

Athletes are grouped according to gymnastics skill level.  Please be sure to fill this information in on your registration form.

Is there a trainer at camp?

There will be a first aid provider at all of the sites for all of the sessions. There will also be a first aid provider in the residence halls.

Can my daughter stay with a friend in the dorm?

Absolutely!  We want all athletes to be comfortable and have fun at camp.  If you have a friend registering, be sure to put her name on your registration form under “roommate preference”.

What if we have 3 athletes coming to the camp? Can they be put in the same room?

Each dorm room has 2 beds.  In the event an odd number of athletes want to room together, we are permitted to request a cot in the room to accommodate a third person.

What if my athlete doesn’t have a friend coming? Who will she be roomed with?

We room “solo” athletes with other gymnasts approximately the same age so they have a more comfortable situation.

What is your refund policy?

If you need to cancel for any reason including injuries and illness:
100% refund (less $150) with written notification before May 18th, 2018
75% refund (less $150) with written notification May 18th - 24th, 2018
50% refund (less $150) with written notification May 25th - May 31st,  2018
NO REFUNDS after June 1st, 2018 except in the case of serious injury or illness.
In this case, documentation of illness or injury will be required before a refund will be processed. Once documentation is received, a full refund will be granted less the $150 administrative fee. Cancellations for any other reason are NON-REFUNDABLE.

What if my child needs medication during camp?

Our first aid providers are responsible for holding and distributing camper’s prescription medication. The medication MUST be in its original packaging containing the name of the patient.  Our first aid providers are NOT allowed to distribute non-prescription medication, such as aspirin or ibuprofen.

Are parents allowed to watch?

We do allow parents in the gym during the sessions.  However, no photographs or pictures may be taken at this time.

Do you allow club coaches to come to camp?

Like parents, club coaches are welcome to come and observe, but we do not allow persons who are not affiliated with the camp on the floor to coach.  

What should I / should I not bring to camp?

Commuters: Bring T-shirts, shorts, leotards, personal gymnastics equipment (ie: grips, tape)  hair ties, tennis shoes, bathing suit, towel & a smile.

Overnight Campers: Bring all of the above PLUS:  Twin bed linens, pillow, toiletries, pajamas.

If athletes choose to bring a cell phone that is fine.  However, usage of cell phones will only be permitted during “down” time of camp or for emergencies.
